popular pr ints of th e present season. Accord
ing to late sa les report s it ha s con tinu ed a

be r of the early F a ll sea son has been more ac
ti\'e in poi nt of sales and, inasmuch as bot h

the average, its life as a sales creator w ill,
doubtles sly, be extended beyond th at w hi ch is
accorde d th e usual pop ular nu mber.
"Swingin' Down the L ane" is not on ly popu
la r as a fox-tro t dance, but it has more than
a li tt le merit in song form. It carries an ex
cept ionally appea ling title and, to s uppl eme nt
all th is, th e publishe r, Leo Feist, I nc., has
selected it as one of the outs tanding iss ues of
its Fa ll campaign.
The tit le page of "Sw in gin ' Down the Lane,"
as we ll as th e title itself, lends itself adm ir
ab ly to display purposes and the r es ult ha s
been that several hundr ed excl usive windows
have been g iv en the num be r.
