ing expectations.
"Our popular catalog is also coining in for its
share and is progressing rapidly. 'The Trail to
Long Ago,' a great harmony ballad, which was
released in word roll by the U. S. Music Co.
this month, is selling very big and indications
are that it will be one of the best sellers during
1923. 'There's Only One Pal After All,' last
year's hit, continues to sell in big quantities,
while our ballad, 'When You Long for a Pal
Who Would Care,' was released in December
on Victor records and has developed into a
steady seller. The newer ballads, 'I Am Lone-
some for You, Dear Old Pal' and 'Sahara
Moon,' are coming rapidly to the front, as well
as 'Old Plantation Blues' and 'Hawaii' (I Am
Dreaming of You)."

Kinley Music Co.—New Numbers and Many
New Improvements Create Increased De-
mand for Line
CHICAGO, III., February 19.—The beginning of
1923 has shown excellent results for the Mc-
Kinley line and business seems to be well
started for a prosperous year, according to offi-
cials of the company. The announcement of
the many new numbers and improvements
which have been added to the McKinley fifteen-
cent music is popularizing this line all over
the country. Some time ago the McKinley
Music Co. announced that the entire line had
been reduced to the standard three-quarter size
carrying artistic two-color covers. Since this
announcement the company has enjoyed a large
increase in business and has received many
complimentary letters from dealers stating their
appreciation of the many improvements and re-
lating the excellent window displays that are
possible and increased sales the improvements
have brought them.

The recently organized Association of Music
Men held its second meeting on Tuesday eve-
ning, February 13, at the old Heidelberg Cafe,
130 Third avenue, New York City. H. C. Schulz,
the newly elected president, presided.
H. F. Rhaesa, chairman of the committee of
constitution and by-laws, assisted by W. Acker-
man, presented a tentative constitution which
was reviewed by the Association with recom-
mendations for several changes, all of which
will be placed before the next gathering of the
Association, to be held on February 27.
