CHICAGO.-Magic Roll , a magnetized
bowling alley, is the newest amusement
machine to be put into the field by
Genco, Inc. Of attractive streamline de-
sign and sturdy one-piece construction,
Magic Roll is strictly a skill game and
is perfectly legal.
Meyer Gensburg, Genco official, in
describing the game, stated: "Into
Magic Roll has been built an irresistible
fascination that creates steady, profit-
able play. Players line up for their turn
to roll the hollow two-inch chrome balls
up the noiseless padded alley , to hit
the magnetized discs, to see their scores
flash on the brillia nt light-up score-
board. This strong skill-appea l creates
extra 'practice-makes-perfect' play.
"In addition to progressive scoring, "
Gensb urg continued, "pla yers m a y a lso
score on the 'tit-tat-toe' principle. Any
three lig h ts in a row- whether vertica l,
diagonal, or horizontal-ind icate a win-
ning game. W hen the b a ll is caught by
the magneti zed disc a light on the
scoreboard, numbered to correspond
with the number of the disc a nd in the
corresponding p osition of the disc on
the a lley, fla shes and remains lighted
until the game is end ed."

LOS ANGELES . - Recently returne d
from an extensive Eastern trip during
which he vis ited jobbe rs from coast to
coast, Lew Feldman of Operators Vend-
ing Machine Supply Co. reports that
conditions in the vending field appear
very favorable.
Feldman declares himself " still im-
pressed" with the magnitude of the
coin machine show in Chicago and the
presentation of hundreds of merchan-
dise and amusement machines, some of
which seem destined to start reaping
immediate profit for alert operators and
d istributors. He mad e special mention
of the m a nner in which the Wurlitzer

Back in Los Angeles with renewed
pep and vigor, Feldman has made
plans for conveying to the operators in
th e local territory many of the profit-
making ideas he accumulated in his
tour of investigation, and he extends an
invitation to all operators to "come in
