A All the way left should be 0-200.
B. All the way right should be 2800-3000.
D. If values are incorrect, check fuses F2, F3 and
F4 on the main power supply.
A If fuses blow, check 25¢ reject lamps
for shorts.
DI. Repeat Set Controls procedure. If values are
still incorrect:
A Check pin 28, IC 30D, main PCB = + 15
volts de.
1. Bad +15 volts; check Q3 (7815)
onAPU PCB.
2. OK+l5volts: checksteeringpot
(10k, 10 tum). Check IC 30D.
B. Check pin 27. IC 30D main PCB= -5
volts de.
IV. If steering pot is bad, see page 3-5 of manual
for proper replacement.

I. No feedback.
A Check Fl fuse on motor amp.
B. Check 5 amp fuse on motor amp.
C. Check that the ribbon cable is plugged
in with the red stripe at pin one on both
the main PCB and the motor amp PCB.
D. Check motor.
A Resistance should be 6 - 12 n between
the red and black wires.
B. Check thermal protect circuit on the
motor. The resistance should be On
between the white and blue wires.
DI. Erratic feedback.
A Check steering. (Steering must be ok
for the feedback to work correctly.)
1. If bad, see Steering Problems.
2. If ok, we suggest that the motor
amp be sent in for repair as it may
be dangerous to work on the motor
amp without proper isolation.
since we are producing plus and
minus 170 volts de.
