NOTABLE BROADCASTING
PIANO AT CENTURY OF
PROGRESS STUDIOS
The Baldwin Adds to Its Nation-wide Position
A valuable testimonial to the fame and standing of
a piano is its selection for use in the broadcasting
studios at the Century of Progress Exposition, an
auditions, with the result that on completion of the
main studio a model D Baldwin grand was secured
for permanent use during the summer.
The Baldwin pianos have received signal distinc-
tion through their having been selected by scores of
broadcasting stations over the country from Winni-
peg to Mexico City and from Maine and Cuba to
Hawaii and Manila.
In fact, the number of "Baldwin used" radio stations
is more than two hundred, embracing the leading
stations of the country.
In an announcement concerning this achievement
Baldwin has been aptly termed "The Piano of the
Broadcasters."
The illustration, with insert herewith shown, speaks
for itself. Mr. L. C. Wagner, Chicago manager of
the retail department of the house of Baldwin, who is
in charge of the Century of Progress exhibits, is
shown at the microphone in the main broadcasting
studio on the exposition grounds, and in the rear
part of the studio is a model V seven foot Baldwin
Masterpiece grand.

have been chosen as the finest examples." This is a
lucid explanation of how it comes about that the
