MUSIC BUSINESS IMPROVES
IN SOUTHERN INDIANA
News from That Section Denotes Lively Trade and
Optimistic Expectations by Music Dealers.
Retail music dealers in Evansville and other towns

good business.
Thomas Grimwood, associated with the Harding
& Miller Music Company at Evansville, has returned
from a business trip through southern Indiana and
reports trade looking up to some extent.

not do so. Fully 3,500 people visited the store. Mr.
Hancock gave out souvenirs and flowers and had an
orchestra and soloists. In the window there was
shown an art model Gulbransen minuet. T. W.
Perkins, representative of the Gulbransen Company,
was among those who attended the opening.
CHICKERING AGAIN SELECTED.

of importance to Canadian music lovers, will be held
during the week commencing May 14 in Lethbridge.
This year the Chickering piano has been selected for
