tainer. lon g a headliner in th e leading vaudeville
th eat re s of the States ; ·q~::b~en making hi s first'
appeara nce in the sa~~~ acity before En g lish
a nd Scottish audiences. ML Ball· is now play
ing at the bi g Paladiuri1·':tneatre, London, and
is meetin g with a royal reception. He is jli s t
as big a favorite with vaudeville audiences in
Engl a nd as he is in America-no tribute is more
eloquent than that.
Booked to mak e his
r egu lar annual tour over the Orphnlln Cir
cu it here, ML Ball was due back shortly, but
hi s success "over there" has changed these
plans and he has just cabled his publishers, :tvI.
Witmark & Sons, that he has had to extend his
Engli s h e nga gem ent indefinitel y. All of which
will b e welcome news to Mr. Ball's countle ss
follow e r s and admirers both here and in Can
ada.
.\mong the new song successes ~'Ir. Ball has
introduced in En gland are his own "Ten Thou
sand Years From Now"· and "Out There in the
Sunshine With You." In ad dition to these he
is singing his old medley of world-famous s uc
cesses, including "Mother Machree," "My Wild
Iri s h Ro se" and "A Little Bit of H eave n,"
"Iris h Eyes," " L et th e Rest," "Love Me," etc.
