Oae of the most delightful of recent musical
cc.lect.ons, not only to the ear, but aiso .o tiu-
eye, is entitled, "Kefra.ns de France,' eui.ea oy
Gustave Ferrari, published by G. Schirmer, Inc.
It comprises twelve French folksongs, "all ot
which,' says Mr. Ferrari, "ha-uLvi (IJ.V.I
through centuries either orally or in wr.ti.ig,
have dwelt on the soil and in the hearts ot
the French for generations, and will dwell there
as long as the beautiful language of France
shall endure." They have been harmonized
suitably by Mr. Ferrari in piano accompan.-
ments. Each one is provided with a charming
full-page title, a headpiece and a tailpiece, by
Daubigny, Steinheil, Blanchon, Tr.molet and
Pinot. They include some of the most familiar
and well-beloved ones: . "Maibrough se'en
va-'t-en guerre," "Sur le pont d'Avignon," "Au
clair de la lune," "Ah, vous dirai-je, Manian,"
etc. It is an "edition de luxe."

M. Witmark & Sons to Publish Score of New
Musical Comedy
A new musical play entitled, "Three Kisses,"
is now in rehearsal and will be produced about
the end of the month by the Wilner-Romberg
interests. The book and lyrics are by Wm. Gary
Duncan and the music is by Sigmund Romberg,
composer of "Maytime," "The Magic Melody"
and other successful light opera scores. "Three
Kisses" will have a notable cast, headed by
Vivienne Siegal, who made such a hit in "The
Little Whopper," and is being produced under
the stage direction of Hazard Short. The story
is founded on the Edith Ellis success, "The
Seven Sisters," in which Laurette Taylor origi-
nally appeared. The music of "Three Kisses"
will be published by M. Witmark & Sons.
A SUCCESSOR TO "WHISPERING"
Richard Powers, New York representative of
Sherman, Clay & Co., is campaigning on a new
number for his firm entitled "Do You Ever
Think of Me?" described as the successor to
"Whispering."

ADDITIONS TO McKINLEY CATALOG
"Sleepy Hollow" and "June" Are Latest Num-
bers to Receive Publishers' Attention
"Sleepy Hollow" (Where I First Met You) is
one of the new songs recently added to the cata-
log of the McKinlcy Music Co. The number is
being used frequently by vaudeville performers
and in waltz arrangement it is popular with the
orchestras. "Sleepy Hollow" is the type of
clean standard song having popular appeal,
which the McKinley Co. seems to have a faculty
of selecting. "June," a new fox-trot ballad, is
also being featured extensively by the above
organization.
