Ernest Luz, general music director of the
Loew Theatres, is using the new Irving Ber-
lin, Inc., number, "Rosie" (Make It Rosy for
Me), as the musical theme in the score for the
new Loew Metro feature, "Cinderella's Twin,"
which is booked for all the Loew Theatres
throughout the United States and Canada early
this year. In his letter to Irving Berlin, Inc., an-
nouncing the above fact, he says: "I received
your copy of 'Rosie' (Make It Rosy for Me) and
was very much impressed with its musical pos-
sibilitjes, in consequence of which I am using
it as the theme in my music score for the new
Loew Metro feature, 'Cinderella's Twin, 1 star-
ring Viola Dana, which will be played in every
Loew Theatre. You should have great success
with this song as the melody appeals. With best
wishes, I am, yours very truly, Ernest Luz."
DOMINIC LAROCCA RETURNS
Dominic LaRocca. who attained quite a posi-
tion as the leader of a jazz organization several
years ago, but who, during the past two sea-
sons, has been spending much of his time in
England introducing American jazz, returned to
the United States a number of weeks ago, fol-
lowing which he introduced a novelty instru-
mental entitled "I Never Realized." This song
lias been placed with Leo Feist, Inc.
