Woodburn, Oregon, is home on furlou gh.
His father·in.law, Cecil Jones, is running

for Western Distributors and spends several
days a week down at th e Arcade.
Bert Beutler, Seattle Manager for Jack
R. Moore Co., togeth er with his wife,
Freda, who is also hi's secretary, were
recent visitors to Portland.
J . E. Cusson made a trip to Chicago in
an effort to secure parts for the J ack R.
Moore organization. While East, h e made
a stop-over in Winni peg, Canada, wh ere a
reunion was held with hi s broth ers and
sisters, whom he had not seen in 25 yea rs.
H e has just r ecently b een commissioned
an Ensign in the U.S.c.G. (T) and was
one of th e eighteen cited for over 600
hours of service in the Temporary Re-
serve, at whi ch tim e he was also p resented
with a wrist tag award.

Einer Amundsen, who form erly was as-
sociated with Western Distributors a nd
later with H. H. Beckett, phonogra ph oper-

forces, is now in t he Phi lippin es h aving
been 32 months overseas. H e is hoping for
a rotation furlough as h e sure is a-hankerin'
to get home. He will have ma ny an inte r-
estin g story to tell , as he has also been
