To Manuf·a cfure Game
MILWAUKEE-A. R. Slade, of the Bat-
ter-U p Co., announ ces th at he has pur-
chased the manufacturin g rights to an abso-
lutely new principl e of Ball Rack Games
for Parks, Arcades and individual pitching
or baseball stores fo r all season opera tin g.
Game assists any ball player in p erfect-
ing his eye and pitchin g, and a pp eals in
three different ways. A single player can
thoroughly enjoy th e scientifi c principl e.
It's com petitive and thus attractive to two
players; but the big appeal is in team play.
F our, fi ve or six men on a team ca n come
to ba t, or ra th er pitch in rotation, and
every play of a ball game ca n be p ut into
operation .
Entire construction is of available mate-
rials and Slade intends to go into imme-
diate production. Game will likely sell for
considerabl y less th an $250.00 per unit.
Further details will be announ ced in nex t
month's issue.

heard on his recording of "I'm a' Ba d
Boy," Boog ie Woogie number.
ARA is increasin g . its production acti'v·

Shelby York , salesmanager of ARA , re-
ports terrific sales in all parts of the coun-

known in th e Coin Machin e fi eld and has
had an emb arrassin g few weeks trying to
take care of his many fri ends who appealed
fo r qu antities of r ecords on th e basis of
old fri'endships. Every effort is being made
to prope rly apportion th e records so th at
