COIN MACHINE . REVIEW
1113 Venice Blvd.
of Coin Machines Sales said that for
three days following the 's howing of the
box, every operator who inspected it
purchased one or more. Shannon is one
of the best known coinmen in Texas .
Associated with him is George Wrenn,
formerly of Dallas. It is stated that the
Buckley Box, a proven product for over
a year, has all the standard features as
well as many that are new and ex-
clusive.
Harold W. Daily, owner and manager
of South Coast Amusement Company, is
now distributor for the Mills phonograph.
An outstanding item of spring and
summer equipment for the music oper-
ator is carried by Bickley Distributing
Company. It is an outside speaker,
adaptable, with proportioned volume
control. The volume control, a s mall
dial , may be located anywhere inside
the building and controls instantly
sound of outside speaker without inter-
fering with the phonograph. Bickley
announces that he is s elling the speak-
er, together with rain-proof cabinet,
adapter unit and proportion control, with
30 feet of cable, for less than list price of
the speaker alone.

HOUSTON. - In appreciation of the
patronage of its customers, Navigation.
Coin Machine Co. , with headquarters.
here, is planning a week's all-expense-
paid tour into the heart of picturesque-
Old Mexico for those who trade with
the firm . According to report the trip
will include a stopover in Monterrey,
one of Mexico's leading cities, located
at the foot of the eastern division o[
the Sierra Madres where ideal climate-
is enjoyed the year around.
From Monterrey via the country's
most scenic highway, guests will travel
the 614 miles to Mexico City for a four-
day visit to points of interest in and
around the capital. Since the trip has
been set for the time of the famous
annual Independence Day Fiesta, the
occasion will be a never-forgotten one,
and the perpetual spring of the capital
and the interestingness of old world
arts and crafts and unusual forms of
amusement will contribute further to
enjoyment.
M. R. James, manager of Navicoin,
who formerly was in the coin machine
l;msiness in Mexico, says he has many
surprises in store for the boys who
make the trip-senoritas, charro con-
tests , bull lights, cabarets, and other
things too numerous to mention.
In addition to this trip, Navigation
Coin Machine Co. is featuring a "de-
livered-kl-your-door" price on their line-
of new and used equipment, enabling
the operator to know exactly what his
games are going to cost him "laid
down."

Bully's Spottem
boosts production schedules.
CHICAGO. - Bally Manufacturing
Company's new 5-ball novelty game,
Spottem, has proven so successful that
production schedules have been in-
creased several times, according to Pres-
ident Ray Moloney. Discussing the new
game Moloney states, "Not since the
Bally Reserve kept the factory busy on
day and night shifts have we been so
swamped with orders. "
Spottem has all the tantalizing 12-
bumper appeal of Bally Reserve and a!I
the slick simplicity and fast , flashy ac-
tion of Bumper. Yet it is absolutely new
and different. It permits the player to
build up his own score by skill and fea-
tures a clever mystery "Spottem" idea
which is proving a strong repeat play
stimulator.
The company reports a line volume on
their two reserve-type multiples, Haw-
thorne and · Pacemaker, and anticipates
an increased volume in the next few
months.
