He said, The main point is
that here’s a most fitting way
for our industry to do some­
thing extra and directly per­
sonal for some of our boys out
there. Of course, we’re all do­
ing an all-out job now — we
manufacturers in v i t a l war
production and every member
of the distributing - operating
fraternity in every individual
way he can best serve.
“But all these efforts have
concentrated on s t a r k war
needs — so it would be a great
kick to tie right back to our
peace-time livelihood by serv­
ing at least a p a r t of these
fighters’ amusement needs.
“Naturally, the big reward
is in doing something personal
for the boys, now. However, it
ought to be a fine good-will
effect for our post-war indust­
ry, too. After all, one of our
ways of life these boys — and
all of us — are fighting for is

Johnson Fare Box Expands
Co in-Wrapper Service
Following the recent expan­
sion of its coin-wrapper depart­
ment in Chicago, the Johnson
Fare Box Company is now in
full production on cartridge or
gun-shell types of coin-wrap-
pers as well as its flat, tubular
types, a c c o r d i n g to an an­
nouncement just made by Fred
J. Burt, vice-pres. in charge
of sales.
This expanded service fol­
lows the company’s recent ac­

quisition o f t h e production
facilities of a l e a d i n g coin­
wrapper manufacturer. As a
result, it is stated, Johnson is in
position to make prompt del­
iveries on a complete line of
coin wrappers to meet the re­
quirements of all banks, de­
partment and c h a i n stores,
churches, lodges and other or­
ganizations that handle quan­
tities of coins.
