tells the legendary tale of those
phenomena of the highways,

Scheduled to Appear to
Testify in Effort to Obtain
Relief From Present Tax
“Curley” Robinson, manag­
ing director of the Associated
Operators of Los Angeles Coun­
ty, and Arthur Mohr, attorney,
a r e tentatively scheduled to
appear before the House Ways
and Means Committee in Wash­
ington, D. C., on Thursday,
October 14. Their headquart­
ers will be the Statler Hotel,
Washington.
It is pointed out that those
who desire and can appear
before the above Committee
with the above mentioned rep­
resentatives should plan to do
so. The necessity for statistics
and petitions are vital to the
success of this appearance be­
fore the powerful House Ways
and Means Committee. All per­
tinent information from mem­
bers of the coin machine indus­
try should be forwarded by
mail to Messrs Robinson and
Mohr, or submitted in person
by other representatives of the
industry who go to Washington
in the interest of getting an
equitable consideration of the
present federal taxes imposed
on various types of amusement
machines.
