Herman Pollack, son-in-law of
Mr. Pollard and in charge of sales

clusive distributors for Evans Line
and Compos, Inc., two lines of
which they are very proud, says
that sales have been very good and
that they are looking forward to a
large increase in busine·s s t his sea-
son. The Pollard • Company has
available a service whereby they
can serve all operators with any
type of coils and transformers or
electrical equipment made to their
specifications.

Miss Gloria Speers is connected
with t he Record Store of t he Nobro
Novelty Co., 369 E llis St., San
Francisco and would be more t han
happy t o help the operators in se-
lecting their records. She has many
records the operators can obtain
for requests of special locations.
The Noto Brothers would like to
have their old friends stop in and
see them as they have big plans
for distribution in the future.
Bob Williams, San Francisco op-
erator, has fifteen new Rockola
phonographs equipped with the
Wayne equalizer and has them all
converted to 10c, 3 for 25c play.
He reports he has increased his
take over the 5c play considerably
and is very well pleased with the
way the Wayne equalizer works.
Los Angeles News item picked
up in San Francisco : Mr. and Mrs.
Kenneth A. Mumm announced the
arrival of Karen Ann Mumm. Ken-
neth is the owner of the Radio-
Matic in Los Angeles.
Willard Wayne, who is now in
charge of manufacturing the
Wayne volume control equalizer,
was originally regional superin-
tendent for the Signal Corps Radio
and Radar Training school. He has
been connected with radio 'for the
past twenty-four years. Mr. Wayne
built the first universal amplifier
to be used in coin machines. He
also des;gns and builds all types of
amplifier and remote control equip-
ment for sound distribution. He
had charge of the radio and sound
detection for the General Engi-
neering and Dry Dock Co.
