Scales may not be the most sensational profit makers
there are, but they certainly are the most reliable and
the most consistent. For more than forty years scales have
demonstrated that for a long-time investment there is
nothing better in the coin machine industry. Other ma-
chines may have their peaks of popularity, but just as
sure as night follows day, scales are still earning steady
profits long after the other machines have lost their nov-
elty appeal.
In these days of rapidly changing machines and models,
it's a wise operator who has a route of scales to fall back
on. When things are going good, you don't even know
your scales exist, although the income is there at each col-
lection, never varying more than a few pennies. That's the
time to bank everything the scales earn .
But let conditions change so that your bells, marble
tables, counter games and other machines are not oper-
