It seems that people are quick to
write in to complain about a bad
experience with a company, but
never to give praise when a com-
pany responds promptly and ef-
fectively. So here's
a letter to applaud
Taito.
SYMPTOM
I was having some
difficulties with a
new Two Minute
Drill. The game
would randomly
give incomplete
passes, even be-
fore the ball was
thrown.
SOLUTION
Finally, Juan told me he would
check with other Taito techni-
cians to see if someone might
know more about this game's
problem. Taito's
answer to all of
this was to send

power supply. CR13 is a 7
amp bridge that gets too
hot and is under-spec'd for
this application. The
bridge may, in fact, get so
hot as to unsolder itself.
SOLUTION
Remove CR13 and install
a 25 amp bridge rectifier
with a metal housing.
Wire it with 18 to 20
gauge. Remove R16 from
the main board.
