voltage shutdown circuit is adjusted too
close at the factory and will cause
shutdown of the nonitor at line voltages
of 130vac.
I have had to renove VR8, the 2000 ohm
adjustable pot, clean the sealing glue
from it, and adjust it upwards SLIGHI'LY,
just enough so that it won't shut the
nonitor down at this slightly higher line
voltage.
caution: Don't try to adjust it in circuit
or you will nost likely break it .

FLIPPER COILS, RIGHI' OR WRONG?
From the first pinball coils on, they have
been wired in series. This has caused the
operator many millions of dollars in
replacenent parts. The correct way to wind
the coil is in parallel. Williamg
Electronics was the first to do this.
The next item I am questioning is that,
are the flipper coils on backwards?
I feel they are. The main advantage of
having the lugs on the opposite side of
the coil is that there will be less shock
on the diodes and less broken wires.
Coils in backwards and wired wrong? It
looks that way. More information will be
corning on this subject.
