Solution: J1111per JH includes 3 points
or flow-thru holes labeled C, 1, & 2. A
solder trace on the solder side of the
board connects POints C and 1. Cut this
trace and install a JU11per between
POints C and 2. On so■e boards the 3
POints are not labeled. To distinguish
the■ , POSition the board so that edge
connector •s• is to your right. Locate
the box labeled JH. The bottom poi r,t is
•c•, the POint directly above point C
is 1, and the POint to the right of 1
is 2.
Note: You ■ay notice that the wire
harness for KICKSTART has a pcwer-or,
reset line. This line should be tied
!OM (grounded). You ■ay have also
noticed that the KICKSTART boards very
nearly rese■ble ■any earlier Taito
boards. Because of this si ■iliarity any
input buffer proble■s 11ay be traced
using the sche■atics fro■ these old

285 is not installed, The CRT 205 may
be defective, or the Ju■per wire from

broken.

Solution: Dleck capacitors C51 and
C52 located behind U6 and U7 sockets
and ■ake sure they are bent down and
not touching the CRT 285 board. Also,
if there are any JU■pers on back of the
CRT ale board make sure they are not
being pinched by any IC Pins.
