STORYTONE GETS GOOD START
L. P. Bull, Vice-President and General Manager of Story
Re Clark, has just returned from a well earned vacation cruis-
ing on the Ohio River in the boat of Warwick Anderson,
Story 8e Clark advertising counsel.
The Storytone, voiced by RCA Victor, was introduced to
the greater New York area by television Wednesday, August
2nd. The performing artist was Miss Rosa Rio, who gave
a praiseworthy performance as guest artist upon the Magic-
Key hour, Monday evening, July 31st.
Mr. Bull appeared on the television program, furnishing
an interesting description of the Storytone. He introduced
Miss Rio. Story R: Clark appreciated the pictures of the
Storytone in the August Fortune and the reference to the
Storytone in the "Piano in the Parlor" editorial in the August
5th issue of the Saturday FA>e)ii)iir Post. They have been
chuckling at the appearance of a 45 year old Story R: Clark
organ in a recent issue of Life.
Doe-Anderson, Louisville advertising agency in charge of
the Story R: Clark account, has just released a handsome
lithographed pamphlet and envelope stuffer on the Story-
tone, Voiced by RCA-Victor. The two pieces, very well
received by the trade, have a strong feminine appeal because
of their pastel colors. And the model selected for this ad-
vertising won't frighten the men away.
Since its well publicized radio debut over the Magic Key
program, the Storytone has been encountering favorable
comments and consumer interest all over the country.
