CLARION CAPTURES SPANISH ATTENTION
Many thousand signors and signoritas viewed with
admiration the splendid display featured at the First
National Radio Exhibition by Platon Texido, Clarion
distributor in Barcelona, Spain.
This exhibition occurred during November and
December and because of the stupendous reception
accorded by the populace it was definitely decided to
continue this promotion plan on an annual basis.
In furnishing a report to the executive offices of
Transformer Corporation of America, Chicago, Sig-
nor Texido related: "Clarion has played a most
important role in our public exposition and the display
we are featuring is decidedly in the limelight and
probably the most visited. We are enclosing a pho-
tograph which clearly illustrates our method of
presentation."
Platon Texido is one of the foremost distributors
of Clarion in foreign climes and has reached an en-
viable position difficult to duplicate for sales achieve-
ment.
Despite current conditions, the export department
of TCA reports considerable activity and shipments
are being made with customary regularity.
WEAVER PIANO IN BROADCASTING
Presto-Times takes pleasure in presenting herewith
a picture of a broadcasting feature, an entertaining
trio known as the Nehi Trio, which is on the air for
the firm of G. F. Plitt & Sons, bottlers of York, Pa.
The trio consists of Mrs. Ethel E. Weaver at the
piano, Mrs. Myrtle Brown Morey and John R. Longe-
necker. It is becoming increasingly popular since
entering the broadcasting field. These musicians
have been working together as a trio for a number
of years. Mrs. Morey and Mrs. Weaver both pur-
chased Weaver pianos some years ago. Mrs. Weaver
recently remarked. "I would not part with my
Weaver grand for anything."
This broadcasting is over station WGAL, Lancas-
ter, Pa.
Do what the big chain stores do. They ship old
items of stock around from one store to another
continually until they have worked them off of their
shelves completely. Advertise your items to swap
for, something you can use. You will be surprised
how shelf space can be cleaned up in this way. In-
expensive PRESTO-TIMES classified ads will help
you accomplish this.
PRESTO-TIMES classified ads bring results in-
expensively.

department of the Daniel Music Company, Owens-
boro, Ky. Mr. Pearson has been in the radio circle
since 1916, showing fifteen years of radio experience.
He constructed and operated the second radio trans-
mitter in the state of Indiana, after which he entered
into the radio field of the retail business. Naturally
Mr. Pearson will become a valuable asset in the
Daniel Music Company, which is one of the leading
music houses of Kentucky.

Silver-Marshall, Inc., protect the dealers who fea-
ture this model, which already has caught popular
favor. To go back to the promotional work of the
company, the plan that is followed is based on the
results of more than seven hundred promotional cam-
paigns by the company, each of which was carefully
analyzed and tabulated, then was formed the plan
that they now follow. That it is a money-making
plan is beyond dispute, as the sales books of their
dealers show. It might be repeated here, as noted
last month, that their policy not only includes selling
to the dealer direct but also giving exclusive handling
of the Silver-Marshall sets in a given city, so that
the company can concentrate upon that dealer in
promotional work.
