A story is going the rounds of men's clubs and
stock exchanges that several months ago President
E. F. McDonald of the Zenith Radio Corporation
wagered a large sum that Zenith stock would sell
higher than stock of Grigsby-Grunow during the
course of this year. He collected his bet one day last
month when Grigsby-Grunow sold lower than
Zenith. It was only for a few minutes on a certain
day that Grigsby-Grunow touched the low point, but
it was enough for Commander McDonald to fly his
flag of victory on his yacht Mizpah—for that one day.
