The Talking Machine and Radio Men, Inc., an
association of the trade of New York, New Jersey,
and Connecticut, is going to start the 1925-6 season
with an inspirational picnic which will be held at
Bear Mountain on Wednesday, September 2. The
officials believe that what the trade needs more than
anything else is confidence and they know that a
tremendous turnout to start the season will serve to
instill confidence in the industry.
The trip will be made on one of the Hudson River
Bay Line boats and there will be dancing all the
way up the river. The ticket issued will include the
bus ride up the mountain; a fine chicken dinner at
The Inn, athletic games and contests, including
greased pole climbing and rabbit chasing; swimming
in the gigantic new pool which has just been opened
at the Mountain; boating and many other amuse-
ments and the daylight return to the city on the
Hudson River boat. For all these attractions, in-
stead of the price being increased, we are going back
to pre-war days and are going to charge $5, which
will also include a chance to win a handsome prize
on a lucky number contest.
Those in the trade who are not members of the
association and who are all invited to participate,
and desire to get tickets, please communicate with
E. G. Brown, 142 Main street, Hackensack, N. J.,
and send a check for $5, for each ticket desired. As
the capacity of the boat is limited it is urged that
those desiring to make up parties, do so at once and
send check.

great deal of interest in the wide line of instruments
exhibited.
