Representative of Standard Pneumatic Action Co.
Returns from North Central States with Good
Report.
Allen R. Farmer, representative of the Standard
Pneumatic Action Company, New York, who re-
cently returned from a business trip in the North
Central States, brings back a very optimistic report.
"While business in that part of the country has been
quiet during the summer months, there has been a
distinctly noticeable brightening-up during the past
four weeks, and this brightness is increasing every
day. It is the brightness of a dawn of a new pros-
perous period—a prosperity that promises to extend
into the spring months of 1925," says Mr. Farmer.
Many orders for standard player actions were
turned into the New York factory by Mr. Farmer.
This is assured evidence that grim old Pessimism
has been overthrown by Common Business Sense
and Optimism. The Standard Pneumatic Action
Company has, at no time, been influenced by business
passimists, but has gone ahead and spent thousands
of dollars, over a quarter million, in the purchase
of materials with which to build actions to fill the
orders anticipated. The continued activity of the
factory during the summer months has assuredly
been a logical factor in determining the upward trend
of fall and winter business.
Mr. Farmer feels sure that the succeeding months
will prove this optimism well-founded.
Already
sufficient orders are in hand to keep the factory run-
ning to capacity; and every effort will be made to
see that orders now placed will be delivered on sched-
ule time.
