CROW NOT STATIC
An aftermath of the Democratic convention was
heard in Police Magistrate Goodman's court last week
in New York between Mrs. Kuni Schlott, west side
rooming housekeeper, and Miss Virginia Pope, man-
ager of a "bird hospital" next door. Among Miss
Pope's feathered menagerie, Mrs. Schlott said, was
a crow which screamed so loudly that it drowned out
convention proceedings on the rooming house radio.
After each "Ala-bam-a casts twenty-four votes for
Underwood," Mrs. Schlott said, the crow cried:
"Ha.w-haw-haw, caw-caw-caw." Miss Pope alleged
that in all the sixteen years she had owned the crow
no person had ever complained. Magistrate Good-
man adjourned the case until health authorities could
investigate.
NEW RODEHEAVER RECORDS.
Homer Rodeheaver, the well-known evangelist, has
returned from his world-wide trip and the first words
he spoke when he arrived in New York were, "I am
glad to be back." Already he has recorded some
inspiring numbers to be released soon on Gennett
records as recording dates had been arranged before
his arrival from his tour. Rodeheaver is the same
vigorous, enthusiastic personality his thousands of
admirers have always known him to be and he is
eager to return to his work in Winona again. Look
for announcement of his new Gennetts. They will be
out soon.
RADIO RECITAL ADVERTISES.
Olie R. Kramer is manager of a new store opened
last week in Batavia, O. A radio concert every eve-
ning is good publicity for that phase of his business.
Mr. Kramer has been receiving many compliments
on the clearness and great volume of the five-tube
service Reflex radio set that is being used for the
public concerts held every evening at 7:45 p. m., to
which everyone is invited.
