FOSTER'S SONGS IN PLAY.
The introduction of Stephen C. Foster's songs into
the new play, "Swanee River," seems a most appro-
priate proceeding. The play is by Edward Locke
and is built about an episode in the life of Foster.
"My Old Kentucky Home," "Swanee River," "Good
Night, Ladies," and "Old Black Joe" are some of the
well known numbers that will be heard in the pro-
duction.

Russell Osmon, of Morris, 111., has succeeded Miss
W. C. Requarth as manager of Bannon's Music Shop,
Ottawa, 111., the latter having resigned and sold Mr.
Osmon her interest in the business. Mr. Osmon, a
brother of Mrs. Bannon, has already assumed his
duties.
Miss L. E. Black is the able manager of the sheet
music department of Black's Music Store, Indian-
apolis.
