LYON & HEALY BENCH TRADE
Chicago Manufacturers Find It Advisable to Make
Benches for Own Piano.
Notwithstanding the demand in January and Feb-
ruary was just double that of 1922, Lyon & Healy,
Inc., Chicago, piano accessories department reports
they are again in position to make prompt shipments
of their own make piano benches and cabinets. The
most difficult problem has been to increase capacity
in keeping with the unusual demand for this class of
merchandise, it is reported.
To insure safe delivery, the Lyon & Healy method
of packing is practically damage-proof. All benches
have a wood skeleton frame fitted over the top, there-
by keeping the top free from being touched. It is
then put into a heav corrugated cardboard box,
tightly sealed, and on top of this a wood crate, and
plainly marked its contents.
The advantage merchants have in receiving benches
in this manner is that they are sure of getting fresh,
clean stock direct from the factory.
