Frank Pierson will open a new store at 117-19 East
High street, Springfield, O.
M. Rich has opened a new music and jewelry shop
at 210-12 and 215 Main street, Laurinburg, N. C.
The Southern California Music Company, Los An-
geles, Cal., has opened a branch at Long Beach
under the management of H. H. Hoskinson.
The Platt Music Company, Los Angeles, Cal., has
moved the offices from the first to the third floor
in. the rearrangement of departments.
The new premises leased by Chas. C. Adams & Co.,
Peoria, 111., will be occupied about November 1. The
new building is three stories high and located in the
best part of Adams street.
Pianos, playerpianos and talking machines are in-
cluded in the stock of Mayo's Music Store, recently
opened at 450 Alvarado street, Monterey, Cal.
The La Tosca Music Co., Rudolph Polak, proprie-
tor, has been opened at 2924 South Vermont street.
Los Angeles, Cal.
C. E. Young has opened a branch store for the
B. E. Pudney people of Sidney in Candon, N. Y.
He will carry a full line of pianos, phonographs, sew-
ing machines and all supplies.
J. E. and W. H. Nace, Hanover, Pa., who recent-
ly opened a branch store at Hampstead. have formed
a dance orchestra.
Late Additions to Forces of Piano Distribution
Show Liveliness of Trade.
Fred Frame has secured the agency for the Pack-
ard line of pianos and players for West Lebanon, Ind.
A branch of the Butler Music Store has been
opened in Wabash, Ind.
Diehl & Drummond, Janesville, Wis., a department
store, has added a line of pianos and playerpianos.
B. W. Hemmelgram has opened a new piano and
phonograph store in Hampshire, 111.
The Graham Music Co., Pekin, 111., has opened
branches in Astoria and Peoria, 111. The Baldwin
line of pianos will be carried in both new stores.
The Schroeder Music House has opened a store in
the Masonic Temple, Marinettee, Wis. C. J. Dalley
is manager.
Five new administration booths have been added
by the George P. Gross Piano Co., Cincinnnati.
D. G. Pfeiffer, 1210 G street N. W., Washington,
D. C, is now showing the line of Jacob Bros.' player-
pianos.
The Dashiell Music Co., Salisbury, Md., has moved
to new quarters at 234 Main street.
The Colfax Music Co., Colfax, Wash., is now set-
tled in its new store in the Glaser Building, Colfax.
Wash.
Wilkinson Bros, is the name of a new store in
Portland, Ore. The principal owner is Thomas Wil-

with Good Pianos and Excellent Service.
Alabama is one of the Southern states splendidly
supplied with piano stores with the reputation for
excellent service. The state has always been con-
sidered an outlet for fine instruments and alert piano
men in the Alabama cities strive with spirit for the
favor of appreciative musical folk.
Montgomery is the headquarters of the Jesse
French & Sons Piano Co. for all the territory of
the company in the South. All through that region
are numerous families whose faith is firm in the
merits of the pianos and playerpianos made in the
big factory at New Castle, Ind. The Jesse French
& Sons Piano Co. also maintains a branch store in
Mobile. The Smith Piano Co. and the Pruitt Piano
Co. also strive for a share of the excellent business
of the latter place.
From Birmingham the Cable Piano Co. reaches
out for a big share of the piano business of Alabama.
An excellent selling organization daily adds new
customers for the Conover, Cable, Kingsbury and
Wellington pianos and the Conover Carola Inner-
Player, Solo Carola Inner-Player. Carola Inner-
Player, Euphona Inner-Player and the Euphona Solo
Inner-Player. The E. E. Forbes & Son Piano Co. is
located in Birmingham.
