Rhodes & Buchanan, the new firm in Metropolis,
111., in which Charles Rhodes and Louis Buchanan
are the principals, report an excellent business for
July. The two active piano men have bought out
the interests of W. P. Baynes in the O. D. Mc-
Laughlin Piano Co. and have added many new in-
struments to the piano and the playerpiano stock.
Metropolis is a growing town in the southern part
of Massac county. Busy factories with long pay
rolls will provide the piano prospects for the new

Charles Kolacny is a live salesman who recently
opened a complete music store in Goodland, Kan-
sas. Mr. Kolacny will carry a complete line of
phonographs, records, sheet music and music rolls,
and all kinds of small musical instruments, novel-
