THE MIESSNER
The low stature, light weight, and clear
resonant tone of the MIESSNER PIANO
have won for it a phenomenal success.
Today the LITTLE PIANO and small
player hold a unique place with the trade
and public. These pianos are ideal for
schools, small apartments, summer homes
and yachts.

The recent announcement that pianos made by
Kohler & Campbell, Inc., New York, have been
chosen as the musical equipment of the San Diego,
Calif., school is more testimony that these durable
instruments are highly suitable for public school pur-
poses. It will be recalled that 180 of these instru-
ments have recently been supplied for use in the
schools of Los Angeles and that Kohler & Campbell
pianos are also the school equipment of Boston,
Oklahoma City and Toledo.
When it was announced that the schools of San
Diego would be equipped with pianos, Kohler &
Campbell representatives of that city, offered the
Kohler & Campbell piano in competition to many
well-known makes. After considering the durability
of the Kohler & Campbell piano and its serviceable
performance in other schools of the country, th^
trustees of the San Diego school board decided upon
the Kohler & Campbell pianos for the schools of
that city.
The photographs appearing in conjunction with
this article illustrate thirteen schools of San Diego,
Cal., and its vicinity. The architecture of these
schools is interesting. They show examples of all
types of construction from the earliest to the most
modern kind of building. All these public school
buildings have at least one Kohler &' Campbell in-
strument as their musical equipment. Some of them
