manufacturers , but Coin Controls
Ltd . of England reports that they
have the problem well under control.
The Oldham-based company has
designed three and four entry coin
doors which allows it, company

Utilizing Namco's exclusive pro-
jection system , this one-player up-
right captures the drama and excite-
ment of modern jet-age aerial
combat , as the player becomes an
ace fighter pilot , chasing down
elusive enemy fight ers through banks
of clouds at MACH -3 speed .
Upon zeroing-in on his target, the
player fires high velocity missiles
from a fire button located on his
control sticks . When an enemy jet is
hit , the 3 -D zoom-in explosing effect
occurs , filling nearly the entire
screen .
Zero -in debuted at the AMOA
Exposition this year and now is in
prod uction .

Greenwald Industries engineers
have been busy redesigning their
series 5947 stainless steel meter in
Brooklyn , New York .
The mechanism and door assem -
bly of the series 5947 is now
permanently imprinted with charac-
ters etched in black paint. As part of
the door design , a small square
depression is incorporated into a
small variable "price" and "amount-
of-coins" decal.
The decal , which is easilv affixed ,
may say. for example, "75 cents to
start '3' -quarters". Simply remove
the protection peel on the back of the
decal , applying finger pressure , and
allowing the decal to set approxi-
mately 24 hours to affix .
A vend change can also be made
in the field by applying a new price
and amount -of-coins decal and using
Mult i-Coin Start Kit 11 1523 to
change the mechanical operation of
the 5900P mechanism .
In addition. there are three
separate stainless steel decals for
door assemblies which use a series
1900 Rotary Selector switch which
are used to re -identify the functions
marked on the basic door . For
example, a change from "Wash-
rinse-wax-tire clean-off," with the
appropriate 1900 series assembly ,
can be done by covering the existing
markings with a separate etched
stainless steel decal . With this
method , one door design can be
used for several different 1900
Rotary Selector switch assemblies .
