Estey Organ Corp. Announces
New 2 Manual Organ
Henry Hancock, president of tin*
Kstey Organ Corporation of Brattle-
horo. Vt. announces this month the
introduction of a new, completely self-
contained. 2 manual-and-pedal Heed-o-
Tonic organ. Called the Virtuoso, this
compact, yet complete organ is the
consummation of more than 100 years
of Estey organ building.
The Estey Virtuoso's console ap-
pointments include both intra and in-
ter mammal couplers, a full H2-note
pedal claviar. overhanging swell keys,
proper positioning of balanced swell
and crescendo pedals. Mr. Hancock
states that the Virtuoso is ideal for per-
forming the great organ literature of
all ages with the tone color, volume
and ensemble surpassed only by the
pipe organ. It has more than 100 ar-
tistic tonal combinations readily avail-
able.
The same skills which Estey has per-
fected in the structure of its pipe or-
gans have been completely utilized in
the incorporation of electric and mag-
netic principals found in the Virtuoso.
Vt ith these features, regular pipe organ
key and slop sections are permitted and
this model is the first to unshackle the
two manual reed organ from cumber-
some mechanical couplers.
The Virtuoso operates from an or-
dinary 110-volt outlet and the space
requirements are no problem, as there
are no speakers, tone cabinets or cables
to clutter the installation. Its 32-note
pedal board will not be found in any
other home organ.
"For high musical quality", said Mr.
Hancock, the Virtuoso is the answer to
THE NEW ESTEY 2 MANUAL
SELF-CONTAINED ORGAN
the electrotone and has all musical and
playing characteristics of the pipe or-
gan. It also has ample carrying power
to serve the sealing capacity of large
churches and auditoriums. All details
are according to exact A.CO. specifica-
tions."'
