Story & Clark Introduced a Corner Piano
and a Church Piano at Convention
Two innovations were presented at
the Convention by the Story & Clark
Piano Co. of Chicago. One was the new
"Coronet", the first piano ever to be
an id having the appearance of a typical
kinot organ for church purposes.

Mr. Cohen has spent practically all
his business life in the retail piano busi-

designed for corner placement. This
new piano is 371/2 inches high and is
available in mahogany, limed oak,
blonde and ebony finished, or custom
finished to match any sample. In order
to enable this instrument to set in a
corner, it is 39 inches deep at the corner
end, and 24 inches deep at the other
end. It is equipped with a "Storytone"
mahogany soundboard.
At the right is seen the Story & Clark
church piano. This piano has been made
to simulate an organ and will be
equipped with the Organo, thereby ren-
dering it an organ as well as a piano.

Frank Cohen Appointed Mgr.
Of Wanamaker Piano Dep'fs.
Announcement has been made of the
appointment of Frank Cohen as man-
ager of the John Wanamaker piano de-
partments in New York City, Philadel-
phia, Pa. and Wilmington Del. Mr.
Cohen assumed his new duties of Au-
ness and was with Frederick Loeser &
Co., Brooklyn, N. Y. for over twenty
years up to the time that company closed
its doors and liquidated the business
early this year. He entered the piano
department when the late Clarence
Hammond was manager and became so
successful at producing retail piano
sales that when Mr. Hammond passed
away Mr. Cohen was made manager of
the department.
He will make his headquarters at the
New York Wanamaker store.
