Announcement Brings Orders
Spear's Furniture Co. Opens
Piano Depl. With the Musette
The growth of the popularity of the
Organo, manufactured by the Central
Commercial Industries, Inc., Chicago
In the "New York Daily News" on
Tuesday, March 4th, Spear's, one of
the oldest furniture houses in New
York City, announced the opening of
piano departments in their Bronx,
Brooklyn and Jamaica stores in the
metropolitan area. Featured in the
MrP a g e ac ^ which was used in that
issue, were the Winter & Co. and
Kranich & Bach pianos. A reproduc-
tion of the Louis XV 37-inch Winter &
Co. piano in mahogany and walnut
veneers was reproduced. In the copy
it was stated, "The only piano ever
awarded the coveted Fashion Academy
Gold Medal". A reproduction of the
medal was also shown.
The text also stated, "Spears, the
home of fine furniture, is proud to
add a complete line of nationally

Organo.
Shipments of this new instrument,
which is shown herewith, started last
month and according to reports from
the company, the dealer demand has
been far in excess of its anticipation.
The new instrument is equipped with
the new Model 0-6 Organo, a 1952
model which incorporates several new
features recently developed by the en-
gineers of the Central Commercial In-
