plans for 1928, and it considers itself fortunate
to have secured a man of Mr. Cameron's proven
ability, for although a young man he is a vet-
eran in the musical merchandise trade. For
several years he was advertising manager of
H. & A. Selmer, Inc., when that firm was lo-
cated in New York City, and originated many
of the advertising ideas that W>TC instrumental
in building up the Selmer business. But when
the company moved to Elkhart, Ind., last year
Mr. Cameron elected to remain in the East
continuing in advertising work.
He has already taken charge of the catalog
work that has been in preparation and will as-
sume active management of the entire Epiphone
advertising campaign. Mr. Cameron's many
friends in the musical merchandise trade have
given him a hearty welcome upon his return

City Band has been organized by Charles R.
Benson, who is recruiting what he considers
the cream of Hornell's musicians into the
organization. Rehearsals will begin shortly at
