Herbert Spencer's new ballad, "Dear Heart,
What Might Have Been," published by M.
Witmark & Sons, is finding unusual favor
among concert artists. This popularity con-
tinues to grow and each week sees new names
added to the list of those programming- this
song. Among those who have featured "Dear
Heart, What Might Have Been," are Grace
Divine, the popular American soprano, and
Florence Genevieve Weil, the well-known so-
prano of Chicago and other Middle West cities,
also Franceska Kaspar Lawson, a favorite con-
cert singer of Washington, D. C. "Dear
Heart, What Might Have Been," is also being
featured over the entire route of the Publix

written in recent years. A tribute to Irving Berlin
himself and his song, "Because I Love You,' J
has been shown by the trade in the large num-
ber of window displays that have been given
by dealers to this song.

H. A. Weymann & Son, Inc., Philadelphia, Pa.,
window, a reproduction of which appears here-
with. It will be noted that a large placard
carrying the title is used as a background and

CHICAGO, I I I . , December 6.—Melrose Bros. Music
Co. announces the purchase of the orchestration
rights of "Some of These Days" from Will
Rossiter. This number has enjoyed a steady
demand for years and Melrose Bros, announce
that a new arrangement for orchestration will
be issued immediately.
New Forster Number
CHICAGO, I I I . , December 4.—"Pretty Lips," fox-
trot, is the latest addition to the catalog of the
Forster Music Publishers. The number is being
featured by leading orchestras, and from present
indications will be one of the popular hits dur-
ing 1927.
