In announcing our song tie-up with this super NEA serial story — "THE FLAPPER
WIFE," we bring to you one of the biggest bits of news in recent years. The song, en-
titled "THE FLAPPER WIFE," is by a writer of popular hits—Carl Rupp—and the words
by the author of the story—Beatrice Burton. Regardless of its connections with the story,
however, the song is of "hit" calibre and, backed by a carefully planned sensational stunt
pulling publicity campaign on the part of ourselves and eight hundred and more newspaper
organizations, nothing can stop the tremendous popularity which this song is bound to
attain.
