Laur ence B. Ellert, who for th e past three
yea rs has bee n ge~e'ral manag e r, secre tary and
treasurer of the \Villi s Music Co., Cincinnati,
0., has severed his con nections wrth that organ­
izat ion. Mr. Ellert ha s been in ill health for
th e past few months a nd h as decided to take a
much-needed rest. No plans for the future have
been annou nced by him. Hi s letter, howev er,
ad dr essed to the president of the board of di­
rector s of the Wi llis Music Co., is, indeed, inter­
es ting, giving as it does more than the u s ual
credit for hi s s ucce ss and ac hi evements as head
of the Willis Music Co. to his co -wor kers:
