Which style of player action do you preler—a Double Valve
Action—a Single Valve Action—or an action that is unusually
easy to treadle?
You will find all three styles in Standards A, B and C, described
below. Check them over. Pick out your ideal.
TYPE A STANDARD
Type A Standard—a Player Action that
claims 200,000 Friends. That's some rec-
ord! Over 200,000 Double Valve Stand-
ard Actions are now in use giving satisfac-
tory service.
The Double Valve Action is the choice of
people who want the best that money can
buy. This Action is equipped to bring out
of the piano every bit of harmony of which
the instrument is capable. Its skill may
be compared with that of a great pianist.
The harmony is in the piano—it remains
for the pianist or Player Action to bring it
out. The master pianist can. So can the
Master Player Action — the Standard
Double Valve Action.
The numerous patented devices of the
Double Valve Action make perfect rendi-
tion possible. Among these patented de-
vices are the Pneumatic Tracking Device—
Flexible Striking Fingers—Double Set of
Valves—Accentuating Bellows, etc.
TYPE B STANDARD
Type B Standard—for those who like a
Single Valve Action. The Single Valve
Standard has the same construction, the
same patented features (with the exception
of one set of Valves), the same quality
materials and workmanship as the Double
Valve Action. The only difference be-
tween Type A and Type B is one set of
Valves—for those who prefer the Single
Valve Action.
Over 60,000 Type B Actions are now in use
giving satisfactory service. Many of them
have been in use for over ten years.
TYPE C STANDARD
Type C Standard—a featherweight easy-
treadling Player Action. The construc-
tion of Type C is like Type B with the ex-
ception of the Simplified Bottom Action.
The simplified bottom construction gives a
featherweight treadling action which has
made this model famous. Type C has a
treadle action which is as easy and graceful
as the motion of a feather fan.
Type C is every inch a Standard. With the
exception of the Simplified Bottom Action
and the Single Set of Valves, it contains all
the patented features that have made the
Standard Double Valve Action famous.
If you like a Player Action that is unusually
easy to treadle, you will like the Type C
Action.
Each of the three styles—A, B and C, described above, are slightly different
in construction. But they are all alike in one respect—they are all
"Standard Quality." Each is covered by our broad-gauge five.year guarantee
