CANVASS HOUSES TO SELL MUSIC
Two Clever Sales Women Adopt Novel Method
of Obtaining Entry to Homes to Demon-

Looking Ahead!

A clever sales method in the interests of sheet
music and one which resulted in considerable
publicity and many sales was recently put into
effect by two young women in Greensburg, Ind.
The young women visited homes and requested
permission to play a piece of music on the
piano. The value of this request is evident from
the fact that the information was immediately
gained as to whether the prospect owned a
piano. In the majority of instances permission
was granted and when the piece had been
played they proceeded to sell the composition.
Of course, where they found that there was
no piano they wasted no further time.
