SONG PROCEEDS FOR HOOVER FUND
Amount Realized on Sale of "Daddy Is Home
Again" Being Sent to the Fund for Relief of
Starving Children in Europe
The Charles E. Roat Music Co. announces that
the entire proceeds of the sale of the song
"Daddy Is Home Again," by Clay Smith, will be
turned over to the Hoover Fund for the benefit
of the starving children in Europe. The deci-
sion is the result of the bringing home of the
needs of the children most forcibly to Mr. Smith
while on tour with the Smith-Spring-Holmes
Orchestral Quintet, with which Mr. Smith is a
trombonist.
Mr. Smith asked the co-operation of his pub-
lishers, the Charles E. Roat Music Co., to sup-
ply him gratis with all copies of the song "Daddy
Is Home Again" he could sell to his audiences
over the Western Lyceum time. The Roat Co.
responded immediately and the plan has proved
so successful that close to $100 a week is being
sent in to the Hoover fund, according to reports.

and is well set off with practical illustrations ex-
plaining the various points made in the text.
