Church Singers—Harold Flammer, Inc., Has
New Numbers in Holiday Catalog
Is the Christmas spirit tingling through your
veins? If not, it will come upon you with the
Drumming
first snowfall. With the approach of Thanksgiv-
ing and the other holidays we turn naturally to

church singers are constantly seeking new music
of a fitting character.
Some twenty years ago a boy sang in the
Norwich, N. Y., Presbyterian Church. He
breathed the .atmosphere that goes to make a
composer of sacred music. Since that time he
has rapidly progressed to where he is one of the
foremost writers of sacred songs in America.
That boy, grown to manhood, is John Prindle
Scott. His latest Thanksgiving song, "Come
Ye Thankful People," is typical of his best in
music, and his latest Christmas song, "O Little
Town of Bethlehem," which has particular
beauty and charm in its simple and lovely mel-
ody, has even at this early stage surpassed in
popularity all his fosmer compositions. This
same Christmas song has an optional obbligato
part and is also arranged for mixed voices.
