A NEW CHAMBERLIN NUMBER
Golden Songs From the Golden West
Measures Up to Standard of Other Songs Which
Have Found Favor on Lyceum Circuits
CHICAGO, October 27.—The high musical and
literary merit of many of the songs produced
by Mrs. Annabelle Chamberlin Held has fitted
them particularly for Chautauqua and Lyceum
production. Some quiet, exploitive work done by
Mrs. Held has secured pledges from many well-
known singers to use certain of her numbers.
The Billboard, whose Lyceum Bureau is quite
famous, recently printed a long story on Mrs.
Held and paid a particular tribute to her work,
especially that which is particularly adapted for
concert use.
Her latest number, "There Blooms a Rose,"
is an exquisite thing and, by the way, is the first
bearing the name of Annabelle Chamberlin, her
work hitherto having been published under the
name of Bob Chamberlin, the pet name by which
she was known in her childhood home in Michi-
gan. "There Blooms a Rose" is a heart classic
and has been furnished with violin and cello
obbligatos. It is understood that it will be fea-
tured by several well-known artists. In the mean-
time, the wide scope of Mrs. Held's talents is
shown by the fact that her more popular num-
bers are making a notable success. "China Lily,"
which has all the earmarks of a production num-
ber, is something very like a hit and is realiz-
ing goodly sales, both East and West. Mrs.
Held publishes under the name of Bob Chamber-
lin and her offices are at 312 S. Dearborn street,
Chicago.

A FEATURE OF THE "FOLLIES"
BERNHARDT WITH CHURCH & CO.
"Tulip Time" One of the Leading Song Numbers
of the Popular Ziegfeld Show
Harry Bernhardt, who for the past several
years has been city salesman for the A. J. Stasny
Music C ° i has severed his connections with
that organization and has joined the sales staff
of C. C. Church & Co., Hartford, Conn. Mr.
Bernhardt will be located in the Metropolitan
district and will make his headquarters at the
C. C. Church & Co.'s professional studios, 155
West Forty-Eighth street, this city.
Probably one of the biggest hits of the season,
and certainly one of the numbers that dominates
in the "Ziegfeld Follies of 1919," is "Tulip Time,"
a number with lyrics by Gene Buck and music
"TLJLJR
"TIME1
Irving Berlin, Inc., have placed the number,
"You'd Be Surprised" in their production catalog.
The song, although only recently issued, has
created for itself so much favor that it is thought
that it will be one of ilie big hits of the season.
HARRIS ISSUING "IN MIZZOURA'
Chas. K. Harris is publishing a song in con-
junction with the Paramount Artcraft feature
film, "In Mizzoura," in which Robert Warwick is
starring. The song carries the same title as that
of the production and is being published by ex-
clusive permission of the producers of the pic-
ture, and they intend to co-operate in every way
in making the song a success by giving it pub-
licity wherever the picture is exhibited. The
number is the work of Carey Morgan, Abel Green
and Lew Porter.

ber have been exceptionally large for a produc-
tion song, and it has been recorded by practically
all of the talking machine record and music roll
manufacturing concerns. Herewith is shown the
title page of "Tulip Time," drawn along the lines
of the newer art creations, which are proving so
popular in the decorative schemes of our present
day artists.
