HE Apollo has always sold for a little higher
average price than any other player piano on the
market because we decided in the beginning to
make that kind of an instrument. Even though the
dealer makes a little less profit than he could make on
other lines, he cheerfully sells the Apollo because he has
no after trouble or expense.
One of the things which has made the Apollo the
leader among player pianos is its various attachments
and its exclusive features. For example, the cheapest
Apollo contains the patented Metronome motor that is
made so fine that it will rewind an entire roll of music
without the necessity of touching the pedals.
¥
For years manufacturers of player pianos and talking
machines, while admitting the desirability of combining
the two, have said that it could not be done successfully.
The advent of the Apollophone proves them wrong.
The Apollophone is the instrument without a musical
limit It does everything that the player piano and the
talking machine can do. It offers effects that are nothing
short of marvelous. The voices of great singers may now
be heard in conjunction with actual piano accompani-
ments, hand-played by the masters. It is also made as
a reproducing player piano, automatically reproducing
the playing of all the great pianists and of the most
noted popular pianists of the country, with all of the
beautiful shading and phrasing of the pianist himself.
