Various Features of Catalog in All Editions
Proving Popular With the Public
The continued success of the Artmusic, Inc.,
ballad "Forever Is a Long, Long Time," has
been very pleasing to those connected with the
company, as the above number was the first
issue released by the house shortly after the an-
nouncement of their opening some months ago.
Its success is all the more remarkable, when
it is realized that very few high-class ballads
attain maximum popularity in the first year
of their life. Saul Rornstein, manager of Art-
music, Inc., in a recent statement said that while
"Forever Is a Long, Long Time" is the biggest
number in the company's catalog, they have
other songs and instrumental selections that are
also making a favorable impression everywhere.
The Artmusic catalog is divided into four
classes, "Art Edition," "Classic Edition," "In-
strumental" and "Productions" editions.

Waterson, Berlin & Snyder, who have had
some of the biggest successes of the season of
1917-1918, are in a quandary just what song to
go after now. They have a number of songs
with much promise and in the try-outs at the
vaudeville houses and the professional rooms
they all seem to have the makings of what are
known as natural hits. However, the Waterson,
Berlin & Snyder staff have been pretty fair lit-
tle choosers for some time and they expect to
repeat.
