SPOOL BOX SHOWING AUTOMATIC MECHANICAL TRACKING DEVICE EXPOSED
Automatic Mechanical Edge Control Tracking Device
The new Higel Player Action is equipped
with the very latest improved and patented auto-
matic mechanical tracking device. This device
absolutely guarantees perfect tracking under all
conditions. It centralizes the music roll so that
the paper cannot crawl sideways, nor buckle. It
adjusts itself to any width of music roll, keeping
the center opening in the paper over the center
hole in the tracker bar at all times. When reroll-
ing the flanges draw away from the edge of the
paper. This prevents the breaking or tearing of
the edge of the paper, while the centralizing of the
music roll guarantees even rerolling.
Equipment and Efficiency
The Otto Higel Co. possesses an immense
advantage in the magnificent equipment of its
large up-to-date player action plant. Here is
gathered a great organization of skilled workmen
who are provided with marvelous equipment for
producing the thousands of parts, and by standard-
ization producing the parts in great quantities,
thus cutting the cost materially, while wonderfully
improving the quality of the product.
