THE MUSIC TRADE REVIEW
'T'HE Knabe piano, has won an impregnable
A
position in trade and musical fields, and
its prestige was never greater in its history
than in the opening months of the fall of 1916.
Knabe
Prestige was
Never Greater
in its History
Than in the
Fall Months
of 1916
Substantial
Reasons for
the Main-
tenance of
This Position,
There are reasons — very good reasons for
this. Behind the Knabe piano stand 79 years
of continuous effort—of continuous devotion
to ideals.
This unswerving allegiance to a definite pur-
pose has resulted in producing an artistic
product of distinctly individual merit—a prod-
uct which has won the highest praise of
not only professional .musicians who have
used this instrument in recital and concert,
but of people generally who appreciate artis-
tic values.
The present position of the Knabe has not
been easily won, for the making of good
pianos is both a science and an art.
One may have good manufacturing facilities,
but that does not mean a perfect piano.
One may have good workmen, but that does
not always mean an artistic piano. One may
have a good organization and still fall short
of the accomplishment of high ideals.
It is the combination of all these factors that
counts, joined with an artistic desire that is
ceaseless in its pursuit of a perfect piano.
The Knabe piano is the embodiment of
originality, energy and scientific work along
artistic lines.
The result is the acknowledged pre-eminence
of the Knabe piano, which stands out clear
and distinct in a sphere of its own.
