Greater Efficiency Plus
The New 19K
T
HIS photograph shows a great big
accomplishment in player action build-
ing. It shows an action which has
bettered itself past a point where
betterment seemed practically impossible,
The new 1916 Simplex Action can truth-
fully be said to embody more great
exclusive inventions than any action hith-
erto put on the market.
But it embodies still mo re. It embodies the
maximum economy. E c o n o m y of c o s t .
Economy of installation.
We have simplified this action to such an
extent that we have reduced the cost below
the average and at the same time improved
our product.
Furthermore, we have produced an action
that is so economical to put into the piano
that the installation cost has been curtailed
to about one-sixth of what it formerly was.
And it is so simply contrived that the work
can be done by any ordinary mechanic—
without previous special instructions" or
special tools.
Study the photograph carefully.
It will
show you how the most difficult and intricate
problems in player building have been met
and solved by Simplex inventive genius.
And always solved in the simplest possible way.
The Simplex Trapezoid Tracker Bar. An exclusive
Simplex invention which insures proper tracking under
all conditions.
Simplex Metal Tubing. All connections between tracker
bar openings and action are metal. Constructed and
adjusted to provide easy access to any part.
Simplex Front Cover. All 88 bleeds quickly exposed
for cleaning or repair, by simply removing a few screws.
A very great convenience to the regulator.
Simplex Individual Pneumatics. Every pneumatic a
complete unit in itself and instantly removable or inter-
changeable. Two screws to take out—that's all.
Simplex Blocking-Off Rail. Applied to the player ac-
tion, it insures permanence of regulation.

Future scanning projects are planned by the International Arcade Museum Library (IAML).
