Greater Efficiency Plus
The New 19K
T
HIS photograph shows a great big
accomplishment in player action build-
ing. It shows an action which has
bettered itself past a point where
betterment seemed practically impossible,
The new 1916 Simplex Action can truth-
fully be said to embody more great
exclusive inventions than any action hith-
erto put on the market.
But it embodies still mo re. It embodies the
maximum economy. E c o n o m y of c o s t .
Economy of installation.
We have simplified this action to such an
extent that we have reduced the cost below
the average and at the same time improved
our product.
Furthermore, we have produced an action
that is so economical to put into the piano
that the installation cost has been curtailed
to about one-sixth of what it formerly was.
And it is so simply contrived that the work
can be done by any ordinary mechanic—
without previous special instructions" or
special tools.
Study the photograph carefully.
It will
show you how the most difficult and intricate
problems in player building have been met
and solved by Simplex inventive genius.
And always solved in the simplest possible way.
The Simplex Trapezoid Tracker Bar. An exclusive
Simplex invention which insures proper tracking under
all conditions.
Simplex Metal Tubing. All connections between tracker
bar openings and action are metal. Constructed and
adjusted to provide easy access to any part.
Simplex Front Cover. All 88 bleeds quickly exposed
for cleaning or repair, by simply removing a few screws.
A very great convenience to the regulator.
Simplex Individual Pneumatics. Every pneumatic a
complete unit in itself and instantly removable or inter-
changeable. Two screws to take out—that's all.
Simplex Blocking-Off Rail. Applied to the player ac-
tion, it insures permanence of regulation.

reater Economy
implex Player Action
HERE are no unnecessary parts to the
Simplex Action. There are no unnec-
essary processes required in its opera-
tion. It is today—as always—the
simplest player action.
No photograph or written description can
give you any real idea of what the new
Simplex Action is and what it does; what it
eliminates and what it saves.
When you sit down to a piano in which it is
installed you have a series of brand new sen-
sations to experience, sensations that open
your eyes on the player action situation.
Therefore we cannot too strongly urge you
—the Manufacturer—to let us install a
Simplex Action in one of your instruments,
for you to try out and compare with the
action you are now using. It will need no
salesmen's words of commendation.
And we cannot too strongly urge Dealers to
know the selling features which make the
player containing a Simplex Action instantly
popular with the prospect.
Write us today for full information on the
newest Simplex Action.

Simplex Hamme: Rail Pneumatics. Operated pneu-
matically by means of push buttons located on key
bed of piano. (See also opposite end of case.)
i
Simplex Finger-Leve'. The connection between pneu-
matic and piano action is effected with a finger-lever
instead of plunger button and wire. This prevents the
troublesome old blocking and sticking of guide strip.
Simplex Unit Bellows Set. The governor gate box,
shut-off box and connections are all included in one
unit with the pumpers. This means tremendous
economy of installation. Six screws do the work.
Simplex Pedals. Made of sheet steel pressed to shape.
Will not break as castings do. Provided with long
bearings which prevent noise and rattle.
