mits of a tone of great beauty and evenness
in all registers. The Decker piano has long
maintained a distinct place in the esteem of
critical musicians by reason of its tone, and
the instruments which are being turned out
to-day under the capable supervision of
Frank C. Decker, the head of the institution,
worthily maintain the high reputation of the
past. The Decker is a piano that dealers
have found, and are finding, to be a great
trade stimulator.

l Special to The Review.]
One of the all-round favorites of the sev-
eral beautiful styles of pianos which are now
being placed on the market by Decker & Son,
of this city, is style F, upright parlor grand,
pictured herewith. It is made in figured wal-
nut and mahogany, and the design is a happy
medium between the over-elaborate and ex-
tremely plain. It is double veneered, with dou-
"ble grand fall, automatic swinging music desk,
solid natural wood carved pilasters, trusses
and panels of original design, fluted mould-
ings on top frame, double moulding panels

The establishment in this city of a piano
house to handle the pianos manufactured by
two different concerns, and to be a central
distributing house for northern Michigan
and Wisconsin, is now an assured fact. A
number of pianos are now in the city and
more are in transportation here, and as soon
as suitable quarters can be obtained a formal
opening will occur.

Manufacturers' warerooms, and will be un-
